Simplify Workflow

Configurable workflow automates processes and reduce complexity - making an enterprise system simple to the end users

Sapphire Workflow

Sapphires user interface can be configured so that different screens are presented based on the roles. The workflow is customized to meet the needs of the user's organizational responsibility making Sapphire suitable for dental schools, hospitals, and public health.

Configurable Workflow

Configurable workflow means the complexity of a dental institution with many different moving parts, users, and stakeholders is simplified

  1. Different Screens
With Sapphire, you can define areas and screens in the software that a specific role of users can access. Effectively removing irrelevant steps that the user's organizational responsibility does not require and thereby simplifying an otherwise complex system. For example, a first year dental student will not have the need to access detailed patient ledgers nor the privilege to see patients or appointment details for patients not assigned to them.
  2. Pre-configured Check Points
Sapphire allows the administrator to setup check points at different stages in the workflow so that certain conditions must be met before the user can proceed further. For example, a dental school can configure a check point such that a faculty must approve the accuracy and completeness of a patient's medical history record before the student can proceed with treatment.
  3. Fast User Switch and Auto Log Out
A higher level user in Sapphire can easily login to Sapphire on the same computer while preserving previous user's session to perform an action requiring users of higher authority, and have Sapphire automatically log out once the action is complete. For example, a faculty member can login to correct an inaccurate clinical record made by a student's mistake, and Sapphire automatically logs the faculty member out once the correction has been made
  4. Extensibile Workflow
Because Sapphire is able to integrate with other EMR software via HL7, new workflow can be introduced into Sapphire. For example, a hospital user could do a patient intake in the EMR software, and then continue the intake process in Sapphire to complete the medical information required prior to dental treatment.
